There were a ton of awesome JRPGs released on the PS1 in 1999: Chrono Cross, Valkyrie Profile, Grandia, and Koudelka are the first ones to come to mind. While many of those enjoyed either a commercial success or a dedicated cult following in later years, there were quite a few games released that year that flew completely under the radar, never to be heard from again. Guardian's Crusade is one such game that was swept under the rug.
