A semantic reflection... I have a number of priorities. Is that even possible? Was the word "priority" intended to have a plural form? If you have more than one priority, are those items still a priority? priority: something given or meriting attention before competing alternatives (Merriman-Webster) As I attempt to navigate my "new" day-to-day, I'm realizing that even in retirement, time is a precious commodity. There are so many things I want to do, but not enough time. Thus, my contemplation of "priorities." I can have a lot of things on my plate, but at any given time, I can only have one priority. Have a plan. One thing at a time. Priority.
