I have been learning to knit over the last few months, with much help from the amazing Clare 🥰 I started with tiny coaster — which took much longer than I was expecting while I was getting used to how to knit. But like with anything I am learning, I love to start with a real project that I might one day use if I finish it, so I chose this beanie: https://kntdapp.com/rav/patterns/library/classic-ribbed-hat-5 I have made a bunch of mistakes that mean the ribbing didn’t quite line up as expected at the start, but I am starting to get a bit more consistent now :) I also misread the instructions (as I was watching the hockey when I started), so I started by knitting and purling each row, instead of each stitch. How cool does the ribbing look (when it’s correct 😂) And here’s my custom pattern — pretty sure it’s caused by knitting instead of purling 🙃🧶
