[GR02.16] one more camellia

Going to take a break from weekly posts for a bit while I finish a few other projects and settle into improv-and-football season.In the meantime I'm posting a set of photographs called Nomad Exquisite to the paid-subscription part of the site. I made these photographs during a road trip from Colorado to Berkeley that coincided with a move from Oakland to Berkeley that at the time I was pretty unhappy about— I loved the house in Oakland and living in the neighborhood it was in, but the landlords were selling it so they bought us out, and the new place in Berkeley was gorgeous but also really expensive, and I never was able to feel at home living in that particular stretch of Berkeley. So I made a ton of photographs and ultimately published 60 of them in an attempt to try to process that transition.This was kind of a private piece of work, there are a lot of interior shots of my house in various states of move-driven mess, so at the time I only published it via e-mail.
