Nintendo Updates A Classic for 2026 (For Better Or Worse) In THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: OCARINA OF TIME Remake

Nintendo of America / YouTube: Adventure through Hyrule and become the Hero of Time when The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time releases November 5, 2026, on Nintendo Switch 2. Oh boy. I am excited to play Ocarina of Time with modern improvements for camera control, and overall game feel. But…I’m not entirely sure how I feel about the visuals. The environmental work is strong, but the character models themselves have an uncanny valley feeling — as if it’s one of those “I MADE THIS IN 3 MINUTES USING GOOGLE GEMINI, GAME DEVS ARE COOKED” videos which seem to go viral. Maybe it’ll feel less odd over a few dozen hours. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time hits shelves, physical and digital, on November 5th, 2026.
