One more day of this extreme heat wave, and I am really ready for a cool front. Say a few prayers for my AC; it’s been challenged, and there’s not a tech available in the city for days. Luckily, this too will pass! Here are my photo choices for today:This is what extremely hot September mornings look like.My little prince has a serious challenger today. There were as many as five hummingbirds around the feeder this morning and this guy seems to have established himself as the odds on favorite.I do wonder if this sweet little boy will leave when the cold front finally comes through. The grackle flocks are growing. I love the shimmer of dark feathers when the light catches them.I hope the cold front brings more terns!The reason all the little birds flew away.
