Mornings are darker, evenings are arriving earlier. Catching up on post-trip admin. Weeknotes are backing up… not even looked at my Monte Rosa photos. Sunday lunch with dad and Jean. Family videos. Apple gathering and chopping and drying. Kilpeck – Garway Hill – Kentchurch Circular with GVWC: I spent most of Tuesday catching up with life admin and laundry. Outside, one of the local farmers was cutting the hedges. A cool and cloudy day. Back to the gym on Wednesday for calisthenics followed by stretch. Home to pick apples for dad and Jean and to pick up windfalls to turn into crumble (didn’t happen!). Then back to the computer to do some planning for the Ross on Wye Walking Festival. JP and I are leading a walk on the Saturday. Army camp busy outside. Heavy clouds delivered intermittent rain, occasionally heavy. Over to Winchester in the afternoon to watch dad’s film compilation of Jean’s party and family videos from the 1990s including a Solihull New Year’s Eve with tipsy adults,…
