FreeBSD 14.5-RELEASE and NetBSD 9.5

NetBSD Recent Changes and News: 31 August 2026 - NetBSD 9.5 available and EOL for netbsd-9 The NetBSD project is pleased to announce NetBSD 9.5, the final update of the netbsd-9 release branch. There will be no further security fixes (or other pullups) to the netbsd-9 branch. I’d recommend running FreeBSD 15 and NetBSD 11 if you can at this point, but a special thanks to the project maintainers and release teams for keeping the lights on for those that still need in the interim.
