Twenty six years ago a friend’s elderly neighbour in exeter, (Betty Junaluska 1920-2005), asked if I could help put her long-deceased husband’s (Arthur Junaluska 1912-1978) american indian folk ballet directions and artwork online. Someone has made a tremendous family history website, which contains an impressively detailed page about the couple at heardfamilyhistory.org.uk/Junaluska TL;DR I’ve put a backup from 2001 on netlify and registered a domain name, added some social meta, but otherwise left it as-is – framesets, dreamweaver image rollovers, fireworks buttons, the works, hoping the search engines will re-index it and keep it for another 25 years! dance-of-the-twelve-moons.org.uk GitHub code If memory serves, she didn’t have a computer and the web was in it’s infancy even in Y2K, but she knew it to be a way of sharing and preserving her husband’s legacy.
