The Gentler Way

Some Influencers work more silently to say the more. The sway of words gently put lift the spirits in ways and sways that swerve away from the shoutings of the disingenuous who so negate the power of art's reasoning. This post is not directly associated with woodworking so much as the woodworker I am. The union and synchrony of two arts collaborating, bringing the essentials of two lives together, no matter how briefly undertaken, matches the murmuration of Starlings at dusk; no one can walk away from the event and forget what they witnessed. These works of art, the Lost Words, exemplify deep care and concern in too many ways to speak of here. They remind me of my working. The opposition of those who think not much at all and then the support of those who, though often unable to express themselves, know inside their very being that, well, things are going quite badly wrong and speaking out about it is not negative but highly sincere.
