I get that a direct adaptation isn’t possible, but it all felt very watered down compared to the books. Which is too bad. The ending felt rushed and at the same time too drawn out. Based on the final season trailer, I think we’re about to take a massive diversion from the books. That’s not inherently a bad thing, but I hope they do justice to the story.
