The weather forecast was amazing, and I had a good night sleep. I really itched to go out and we did! We went to a museum about an hour’s drive from the house, and it’s famous for its amazing sculpture garden and one of the largest van Gogh collections in the world. It was so so so wonderful. Here are some pictures from the visit The entrance to the museum Jardin d’Email (enamel garden) by Jean Dubuffet. A gigantic abstract garden. another angle this is back to the entrance, where a tall “tree” is the entrance to the garden. a Rodin sculpture This was a kinetic sculpture, so beautiful. Van Gogh’s still life with four sunflowers. This one made me cry this is one of my absolute favourite van Gogh paintings. I sat on a bench in front of it for a while, staring at the amazing sky this is a painting I had a poster of on my wall since my teenage years, it’s called En Juillet, avant midi ou Le verger, and the artist is Théo Van Rysselberghe neon art in the entrance of the museum building.…
