Volume 1 of this collection is one of the best purchases I’ve made on my Switch. The selection of games on this collection cannot match the hits on the first. I was looking forward to playing many of the games listed below; some of which I hadn’t ever even seen a screenshot (I’d played two of the games before). The balance between the two volumes is great, but I had a much better vibe with the first one. It featured two airplane games, two helicopter games, two run and guns, and two sci-fi shooters. This collection has a pair of upgrade-focused shooters (à la Gradius), a pair of Truxtons, a pair of horizontal shooters, and two entries that are considered pretty weak.
