Tour de CROWN 2026 0 ▲ Chris Glass 1 hour ago · Life · hide · 0 comments As the week approached we still hadn’t registered for the Tour de CROWN, an annual bike ride that connects bike paths around Cincinnati (with some on-road sections until future sections of the loop are finished). Ultimately we agreed with the caveat: if we felt off or the weather was poo, we’d scrap it and consider the registration fee a donation for a good cause. We lucked out with fine weather and convened super early at the starting point for the 17.5-mile loop with the “conversational” group. (11-13 MPH if you’re curious.) Over the half-way point in Columbia Tusculum It was pretty awesome, though next time? We’re going on the slower “Leisurely (8-10 MPH)” group because that’s most definitely our speed. I’ve grand plans to do the full 34-mile loop one day, but I’d need to be better prepared physically and mentally. As it stands? I’m so very glad we did it.
