Go with the flow 0 ▲ Cotswold Diary 2 hours ago · Life · hide · 0 comments Tony has been organising today’s event, Go with the Flow, for over a year now. It was up in the heritage hub at Gloucester, which is a building I haven’t visited before. The format was an exhibition and series of talks on river heritage from various organisations around Gloucestershire. I arrived just after 1pm, and the talks were underway, so I took the opportunity to look around the exhibition and talk to some of the stall holders. As always at these events, it’s a great opportunity to network. I knew some of the people already, and others I had been on zoom calls with but not met yet. Matchstick boat The model boat exhibits were fantastic. There’s a large club of enthusiasts who build the powered boats to scale, and then they do sailings in various locations around the county. There are discussions underway with the Stroudwater Canal project – it would be great to see them at Fromebridge. There was also an excellent audio-visual exhibit which was a collection of heritage research… No comments yet. Log in to reply on the Fediverse. Comments will appear here.
