Week In Review 2026-09-05

This update covers Sunday 08-30-26 through Saturday 09-05-26 (icon Glossary, if needed). LIFE 🈁 A low-activity week, largely because I was on call for work and it was really damned hot. 📕 It felt strange to be excited about my on-call shift, but the focus on work kept my mind and emotions in check as opposed to the week beforehand. 📜 The heat is both exhausting and played out. I eagerly await a change of season. ❤️‍🩹 Resumed my three 7-minute workouts, but moved them to a Tuesday/Thursday/Friday schedule due to a weird muscle pull on my left hip on Tuesday 09-01. Went swimming in the evenings of Monday 08-31 and Friday 09-04. EXPLORE 🎨 Wrote up my first Randoming post in over a month, where I talk a bit about A.’s recent health regression, among other things. 🔬 Updated to Developer Beta 8 of iOS 27 and macOS 27 Golden Gate. Briefly tested out Epistles (macOS) for 36 hours as an alternate Fastmail client, but didn’t feel like it added anything better to what I’m already using. Charging…
