Once that's done, the end truss will be landed and secured to the gable. That will also serve as a template for locating the lookouts for the roof beams for the covered deck. Once those are marked, the affected blocks will be removed, cut and re-stacked. Hopefully we'll get it poured sometime next week. Then we'll land the remaining roof trusses for the vaulted ceiling. Brad wants to do the interior framing for the main floor beneath the attic trusses before landing them. So that's probably (hopefully) next week. There's less framing on the main floor than there was on the basement, so it should go rather quickly. Then we'll get the attic trusses up, and the roof decking on. We also have to pour the footers for the deck and the porch, stack chimney black for the timber columns, backfill everything and pour and stamp the patio before the timber-frame deck and porch arrive,… No comments yet.
