Cut-Up Timeline of the Future

via NASAI love mashups, I love timelines, I’m certain I’ve mentioned somewhere that the ideal Alien franchise is Alien, Blade Runner, Predator, Avatar, and Halo. This post started as that, but spiralled out of scope very, very quickly (who could possibly have predicted this, I've never been known to spiral out of scope). The only original material here is the connective tissue, but you could easily find and replace the proper nouns and have yourself a Mothership timeline. Might do that in the future. Most of the sources should be easily-recognizable, and most of the those that aren't are probably from Orion's Arm.
