Fremantle2026 September 5 (Saturday), 9:46AM· MyHeritage · genealogy · URLs · citations · It seems like MyHeritage have broken their family tree URLs yet again. Why do they not want people to have stable links to profiles?! They used to look like this: https://www.myheritage.com/person-1500019_781114891_781114891/sarah-constance-leake But now are like this: https://www.myheritage.com/profile-OYYV7GVJPP6ZZ7BIJVZKBXE4W34KBZA-1500019/sarah-constance-leake Thankfully the person ID is retained, and it's just the tree ID that's changed. The trailing text (sarah-constance-leake in the above) can still be anything, but whereas it used to be able to be left off completely it now has to be something (at least one character). I've documented this on WikiTree's G2G forum. This post is also on Mastodon. ← Previous My main RSS news feed: https://samwilson.id.au/news.rss(or Wikimedia.rss, Fremantle.rss, OpenStreetMap.rss, etc. for topic feeds).
