hmm........First thing in the AM I checked the squareness of the carcass. I had squared it up yesterday and left it as is overnight to cook. The left side, top/bottom, was square. The right side was a wee bit off. Not much and visually I can't see it.the top securedThe top was glued down in spite of me having doubts it would be. I had used hide glue for this and the top was down tight to the sides. I used four Miller dowels on each side. need to remove this to the lineI didn't notch the sides to fit in the top stopped dadoes, instead I dead ended the sides into the ends of the dado. I purposely left it long so the sides would be tight against the ends. I had thought of sawing it off before I glued and nixed it. Decided it was better to leave it long and then plane it off. It is/was only an 1/8".checkingI still have to rout a rabbet for the back so this needs to be straight and flat from side to side. hmm.......Got it straight and flat but not square.
