The super snow moon of February 2019, the largest full moon of that year, rises over the St. Lawrence River in this stitched aerial photograph by Duncan Rawlinson. The Thousand Islands Bridge crosses the frame at dusk with its deck lights just coming on, and their reflections hang in the open water below the span. Beyond the bridge, ice covers the river in a pale sheet that runs toward the moonlit channel. Snow lines both shores and the cottage lights of Ivy Lea glint through the trees at left. The sky grades from the last warmth of sunset at the edges to deep blue overhead. Ivy Lea, Ontario, Canada.
