FURTHER NEWS OF THE OLD WALTON ARCHIVE

Folllowing my post of yesterday when I was struggling with poor Internet connection and managed to post an incorrect URL for the Walton Archive. Here is a follow-up post to hopefully make the situation clear. I have some very special news to share with you. Over the past 60 years I have been amassing thousands of photographs of Old Walton. As a partner in Putmans Photographers I was able to access many interesting and varied images of Walton in the past . About 40 years ago, as I was learning how the Internet worked, I created an archive of some of the images and I continued to expand this over the years until it contained thousands of Walton related photos. However, as things progressed and computing became so much more advanced at the same time as I grew old and lost the will to keep up with it, I had to abandon the Archive and with a very heavy heart think that 60 years of devoted attention and a love of Walton was to be lost. But NO, my angel on a white horse came to the rescue.…
