day four - Toothacher Cove

Rain, sometimes heavy, in the night. Wake at 6:30 to see the storm has slipped off to the north and west. More wind, fog and possibly wind forecast for the day. I'll stay put.Hot chocolate with breakfast, hot tea with lunch. Nap, read, catch up on the log book. Fog comes and goes, as does the wind. Toothacher Cove provides excellent protection. Calm water, the occasional car passing on a little road. Some grinding sounds coming from a small building near a house on shore. One moored sailboat, one moored powerboat and SPARTINA. A light dinner of tuna in a bean and corn salad, a cup of fruit and crackers. Better weather tomorrow.
