It is All About Working Relationship

As I am writing this, I feel angry and hurt. Once again, my quotation got leaked and my competitor took it as theirs. How I know? The building manager told me that the property developer has chosen their own insurance agent for the insurance renewal but the coverage and wordings where identical to mine. I did not lose because of my skills; I lost because I do not have the working relationship. I am still somewhat unknown in the industry. I have my own regular customers. However, I do not have any working relationship with the large developers in my city. I have tried knocking on doors, but many already have their preferred insurance providers. Switching over to me has to be something attractive. I do not have an immediate solution to my problem yet. The only way is to keep doing good work and publish myself. To quote Carl Newport, "So Good They Can't Ignore You".
