human.json is a lightweight protocol for humans to assert authorship of their site content and vouch for the humanity of others. It uses URL ownership as identity, and trust propagates through a crawlable web of vouches between sites. While being insulted in the comments and (lightly) on HackerNews, I was minding my business and found this initiative on the web started by Beto Dealmeida. He has promoted this protocol earlier this year (2026) and I liked it and implemented on my websites. Over the time I may add vouches to other people all over the web. Here’s the repo for the project: https://codeberg.org/robida/human.json The logo was made with Text to ASCII Art Generator.
