Developer Working on an Adapter to Trade Pokémon from GBA to Switch 2

Trading Pokémon between an original GBA and a Switch 2 😎😲 My GBA-to-Switch trade adapter is working! Still plenty of work ahead, but seeing a real GBA communicate and trade with the Switch is pretty incredible. Drewworks on Twitter shared a video of little board connecting a Game Boy Advance to a Switch 2 to trade Pokémon between the FireRed and LeafGreen games. There is hope for the OG trainers out there that still play on GBA for after Pokémon Bank shuts down next year. I wish The Pokémon Company would make an adapter like this, but the cost and potential sales are likely far, far too low for that level of effort from the company. It's far cheaper and far more lucrative for them to port the GBA games to Switch. It makes perfect sense and is what I'd do. It is nice to see that the community will come up with solutions for the few of us stuck in the old ways. If only the DS and 3DS games were on Switch and this kind of toll could be made.
