A few years back, I earned a 1,000,000 subscriber plaque from YouTube for one of my (former) clients. I also have a 100k plaque for my channel. I know a thing 'er two about the 'tubes. The first thing to know is that YouTube sucks.That's why I originally spun up this site back in March of '25. It was in an attempt to move away from YouTube's algorithmic pain de jour and to reclaim some of my digital autonomy.And let me tell you, the Bryant Review is the coolest thing I've ever done.YouTube ain't got shit on running a website in 2026. But that digital autonomy comes at a cost! There are hundreds of gotchas, little barbs just waiting to hook into your sweater and rip at the threads.However, the digital autonomy thing is also a learning opportunity.
