Leo's bookcase pt II..............

hmm.......Whacking out the shelves and it wore me out. I got short of breath on all three before I had sawed 1/2 way across. Got it done and marched on smartly.the topI barely had to plane a frog hair off on the joint line. I had fussed a wee bit when I glued this up getting the joint line flush.brown knotsThis is the top and I went back and forth on whether or not to put it aside and make a new one. I soaked the knots on both faces and after it had set it all of them felt smooth to the touch. prepping the shelvesI planed a reference edge and squared one end. I will saw it to length and width after the carcass is glued and cooked.stopped dadoesRouter work is in the on deck circle.ouchI did a horrible job knifing the dadoes on this side. This is the worse one of the three. The furthermost line to the right is the one I need. It was a comedy of errors doing this. The square wasn't tight to the edge and the blade slipped as I knifed. I would like to say it was the knife wandering off…
