On the one hand it is frustrating when companies do stupid stuff and force you to look for alternatives, either through insane price hikes or inexcusable political decisions. But it is a great opportunity to move to open source self-hosted solutions for everything. Is it more work? Yes. Will you retain full control over your stack? Most definitely!
