mvp: sql server external tables

This may or may not turn into a series. I know whenever I say "in my next post..." I never end up writing that next post. So we are going to call this my "MVP" series, but we'll see if I keep at it. If I do, it will be a series about my disappointment and I don't know if I have the strength for that.
