Audacity 4.0 is awesome (and still a little buggy)

Audacity 4.0 is amazing. It just released a few moments ago and I'm living for this!I've been hotly anticipating its release for years at this point. It's a complete front-end rework of the Audacity codebase that you know and love.Fully re-implemented in QT, version four-point-oh brings so many goodies, quality of life features, and less friction (if you don't count the constant MuseCore nags).This is open source software?What's New?Audacity 4.0 has a bumper crop of new features that are exciting as all get-out. The first, most obvious change? A new UI.Left: version Audacity 4.0 😍😍😍, right: version 3.7 🤢🤮🤯This compared to version 3.7? It's a night and day difference. Not only that, I'd be willing to say it's a universal improvement. The new QT-based design is also quite a bit snappier and responsive, too.Frankly, Audacity 3's UX design was non-existent by comparison. Things failed to behave with any measure of mental ergonomics.
