Want the Journey Not the Destination

My son told me that his friend said he is lucky to monetise his YouTube channel. I asked my son whether he feels lucky? He said he feels torn about it as the channel took 9 years to be monetised. I told him that no one watch his channel during the early 9 years, but he still keeps making videos. It was a couple of videos that allowed him to have enough viewership to get noticed. When we look at someone's achievement, we only see the results. And we all want that results. Not many would share their struggles, late nights and failures. It is the struggles that made the success possible. When we see someone's success, ask yourself what kind of price that the person has paid to achieve that? Ask yourself another question, are you willing to pay the same price? If yes, you know what to do.
