Off Grid.

I’m on my way to meet up with friends for the long weekend. Like last year, I will be completely off the grid Friday morning until Tuesday morning, and it’s a glorious thought. I’m flying out today, Wednesday, instead of tomorrow because it was actually cheaper to pay for Wednesday flight and get a hotel room versus flying out Thursday. Flexible travel plans rock. The flights are on United. Next month Earl and I are headed to Disney and we’re making the transition from United to Delta for our “airline loyalty”. We used to fly Delta most of the time back in the day, and I’m interested to see what their offerings look like these days. I know the flights to Orlando and back are more cost effective on Delta vs United. They’re expensive across the board, to be honest. I plan on doing some writing on the upcoming flights, so I’ll be scheduling some blog entries ahead of time so anyone that stops by the site will see that this is quite the active, if ancient, blog.
