Status of the GitLab instance

You might have noticed in the past few weeks that my website and GitLab instances were not as reliable as usual. Sadly, tons of malicious actors such as Meta, Microsoft and other large conglomerates, found my instance and are currently launching a DDoS-like attack, forcing my server to generate commit webpages for something they could easily get using git clone, for data they do not hold a licence to. For this reason, most of the instance has been set on private and is therefore not accessible publicly any more. While this deterred those malicious actors for a while, they will be back for sure and begin their campaign again, like they did once before. While solutions such as Anubis helped in the past, they now slow down end-users while attacks manage to go through those protections, rendering them basically useless.
