Junto @ Bern 2026

Many thanks to Tobias Reber of Musikfestival Bern for sharing this video from one of our five project collaborations this year. (More photos below.) As part of Musikfestival Bern 2026, which takes «Blitz» (flash/lightning) as its theme, a ping pong table has been set up in the newly renovated PROGR courtyard for passers-by to play quick matches against musicians, artists, and each other. During lunch hours, matches are dynamically scored with outsized storm sounds, triggered with piezo mics and/or game controllers. Sounds in the project were produced by Junto members in project Project 0752 back in May. More at musikfestivalbern.ch. The festival began today, September 2, and runs through September 6.
