When rationality clashes with emotions

I appreciated Newsonaut’s recent post arguing that we should keep supporting Firefox, as well as the Hacker News discussion about it. I am one of the people who got so annoyed at Mozilla in the past couple years that I switched my primary browser to Vivaldi on desktop and DuckDuckGo browser on Android. Not saying that’s the right choice, but it’s where I am now. Firefox is now my secondary browser on both devices, and occasionally there’s some stupid website that doesn’t work in either and I’m forced to use Edge. I still use Firefox on both devices for its sync function, so I can process tabs I found on my phone on desktop. I agree with the top HN commenter that Mozilla pisses me off so much because I care. I’m fucking rooting for Firefox.
