I agree with Terence that "we can go back to chatting shit about literally anything else" whenever we want to, if not what we actually want to chat about. "Can we talk about something interesting now?" doesn't have to remain an unspoken thought swirling within his skull. Better yet, he has the power to steer not only conversations to his liking, but also personal associations too. Moreover, his thoughts remind me how boredom is an attentional failure over a shortage of stimulation, and interestingness is more of a behavior than a selection of topics. Visa's tweet, "interesting people are never bored", hints at that. His "So what? Why is that interesting?" ask from his Substack article, interestingness on demand, gets down to brass tacks.…
