Redoing some old prints 0 ▲ Mark B Tomlinson 2 hours ago · Life · hide · 0 comments I did a few prints of some of my models a couple of years ago, unfortunately I rendered them too dark for hanging on the wall. While they looked okay on the screen they weren’t so good in a normally lit room, and the back ground was far to dark for the subject to stand out. So I have done a little reworking and relighting to lift them from the page as it were. The fun part for me is a few, like this one, were done in Modo and I haven’t used that in a while so remembering the settings and shortcuts was a mental refresher. Luckily Modo still runs for me, version 17.1 was a last and free upgrade from Foundry, now gone sadly. I really liked Modo, but all good things come to an end. This is one of a Droid model I made some years back and I like it but the render I did back then was really dark and didn’t work well as a print, now I think it might. Here’s a little preview of the model in question: No comments yet. Log in to reply on the Fediverse. Comments will appear here.
