A Challenge to Myself

I am an artist. That sounds a little pretentious writing it out like that, but I’m working on being a little less self-conscious about it. Creating art is sort of the main “thing” I do before anything else. I certainly have a lot of other things I enjoy doing, but if I had to pick just one I’d be making art. So I guess, based on that line of reasoning, I’m an artist.Anyway. I was sitting around the other day trying to come up with something to write about for my blog and the thought struck me that even though, as previously established, I’m an artist I rarely (if ever) write anything about art. Thoughts on inspiration, process or technical details, I basically never touch on any of these topics in any of my blog posts, and that is something I’m going to challenge myself to change.Up until this point the only art-related posts on my blog (which is written by an artist.
