Glastonbury Abbey tour notes

A few weeks, on a trip to Glastonbury, E and I went to a guided tour of the ancient abbey ruins. The tour was guided by Geoffrey the Carpenter, and these are my rough notes. There was a lot of information and it’s possible I got some of it wrong in my haste to write things down. Aside from that, this is the history of the abbey as told from the point of view of a carpenter in those days. I think Geoffrey might have taken some liberties with a few interpretations of the story, and some parts combine history and legend without fully delineating them.
