Just a few odds and ends before the next club meeting…. Forgot to post this one – mid August and Allan spent the day in the middle of a field with Richard, at the Biddenden Tractorfest Just got back to Richard’s flat. Had a good day at Tractorfest. Got there at just after eight this morning and finally drove out at six this evening. Tramfabriek posted these lovely photos on Facebook This layout alone displaying Lemmer in Friesland (Netherlands), in H0 1:87 is already worth the journey to the narrow gauge museum near Leiden for the Smalspoormodelbouwdagen Stoomtrein Katwijk-Leiden on the 29 and 30th of August 2026. We convinced Geert de Heij to bring his layout to this international exhibition, because it needs to be admired in real life by the public. Much of it is hand made with some Artitec and Tramfabriek details. You’ll find that everything is made at a very professional level, including the whole frame, lighting and run around loop.
