Summer, a Blogging Sabbatical and the Excitement of Autumn

I have not blogged much over the summer. A lot has been going on. However, with the Scottish drizzle returning, the leaves falling from the trees and school being back, I thought it was time to start writing again. And this is the result of that thought. Enjoy. Why no blogging?For me, summer is a time that is best spent outdoors, and given that the heat throughout most of the summer has been unbearable at times, and also rather lovely at other times, I just have not got around to writing as many blog posts as I wanted to. For me I dubbed this as a blogging sabbatical. I have also enjoyed taking the pressure off myself and just enjoying the summer. What did I get up to?Gardening, visiting the delightful sights of Galloway, spending time with family and trying to survive the heatwaves.
