Doctor Who – 05 Jun 2010

We’re in June 2010 now, and something odd has happened. In June I only have four recordings saved. Again, I’m still convinced there’s more than one external hard drive in a box somewhere that I just haven’t noticed. If I ever tidy up, they might turn up, and I’ll have to do some retro entries. But for now, we work with what we’ve got, and today that starts with the end of Shrek 2. There’s trails for Horrible Histories, National Lottery In It to Win It 2012, and the World Cup. Then we have the only programme I saved from June 2010. Yes, it’s Doctor Who – Vincent and the Doctor. There’s a brief scene with Vincent Van Gogh (Tony Curran) painting a cornfield which appears to have something invisible running through it. Cut to the present day, in the Musee D’Orsay and their exhibition of Van Gogh painting. After the traumatic death of Rory, then his vanishing from history, the Doctor is being very nice to Amy, despite her not knowing why. Amy finds the picture of a church from her…
