Here are a handful of likely narratives to pick from, running down the banzuke: Yokozuna Hoshoryu Out After SurgeryIt's super unlikely that Hosh will be back so soon after getting knee surgery at the end of July - I frankly don't want to see him, I want him recovering and giving himself the best chance possible at coming back stronger. There's a bunch of chatter and gossip, fanned by his stablemaster, but guys have come back from this sort of thing if they get to take care of it properly, so lets hope for the best here and move on. Onosato Back From InjuryOnosato looked better in July, but he still didn't look like Onosato. 9-6 was a good result for how weak he looked.
