Thoughts on Blaugust 2026

Well, the month is over, and with that, Blaugust is gone as well! This is the second time I have participated on this challenge, and it has also lead to quite a lot of interesting interactions and a decent amount of posts. To be honest, I was unable to reach the goal of 31 posts for the whole month. I wanted to give that a try and I even did two posts per day some times when I missed some previous days. However, as usual, some other matters got in the way! My siblings were visiting, my sister’s boyfriend was visiting, and I also had a few days of vacation which I decided to spend on other hobbies unrelated to writing. As such, I ended up with a total of 19 blogposts for the whole month, one less than July which didn’t have an event tied to it! I basically wrote the usual, and well, that’s pretty good, although my pacing was all over the place, with some weeks much fuller than others and the like.
