No Room for Error challenge from Bellingcat. Here you can see my thought processes and what steps I took to get to the answer, but of course there are many different ways of reaching the same results. First lookWe've received a selfie made by GeoPeter in his hotel room. Both the outside world and a reflection of the inside of a hotel room are visible. Our task is to find the name of the hotel GeoPeter was staying at when he took this photo. I first observed the picture closely to make a list for myself of things that stood out. I divided into two parts: outside and inside. Outside details: It looks like a we're located in a city. The picture was taken from higher up, part of the ground and of the top of another roof are visible below. The general look is European to me, maybe Scandinavian, maybe Western European. There might be industry (a tall pipe?) in the far distance. There are two red lights in the air, maybe a tower or different structure… No comments yet. Log in to reply on the Fediverse.
