There are open-source and free-to-play games available that cost nothing (up-front anyway), such as Fortnite. However, what about those AAA games, that have an up-front costs. How can you get those for free? Many of the game companies have their own platforms these days, riffing off the success of Steam, and actually offer some of these games for free (albeit usually after they’ve been out for a while). It’s a great way of building up a solid library of games, though. EPIC Games normally give away 2 games every week If you have an Amazon Prime subscription, you also have access to their Luna gaming platform. On top of that they have giveaways every week across a lot of the other gaming platforms as well. Steam regularly, but at ad-hoc intervals, have giveaways but it’s not easy to identify them. Thankfully, the site SteamDB can do this. They have a Discord channel too, which you can use to be informed of any new giveaways For all of these I’d recommend checking them once a week…
