watched camp miasma today

Mild spoilers Watched Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma by Jane Schoenbrun today! It was an interesting movie to digest for sure. I wouldn't say it's as impactful to me as I Saw the TV Glow was, but still a solid film overall. I think that one of the more interesting things that I feel like could have been opened up more on was about Little Death. I may have just missed out on a lot of context surrounding them (unsure about pronouns?) due to my auditory processing being absolute dogshit. But maybe the whole bit with the "origin story" narrative through the publishers pushing it was an intentional move to distance itself from "reboots" that broke the magic of what makes a good killer in slasher films. The meta-meta narrative of the movie in the movie being the actual reality or whatnot, while very cool, got lost on me very quickly, and I might need a second or third rewatch to really understand what was going on there.
