Udenstue is a vibe!

Udenstue is a Danish term for a sunroom. The word itself has fairly simple origin in Danish language and comes from: ude (outside, outdoors) and stue (room) and is typically a glazed room built onto a house, with walls roof largely of glass used as an extension of the living space. It makes perfect sense since weather in Denmark is quite often sunny but not always warm. This summer we went once more to Denmark and ended up staying in the same Airbnb house in Aalborg as during last year's trip. The main difference this time around being our kids being a year older and much more self-sufficient, which gave my wife and me the lovely opportunity to enjoy our mornings sipping coffee and looking through the window at kids jumping on the trampoline and running around the garden. As parents of young kids, getting past the point where they need constant supervision is a big deal.
