September is spooky this year

Good morning, afternoon, or whenever you read this. I've always loved the Halloween season. This is undoubtedly thanks to my witchy mother. She had plenty of brushes with the paranormal, according to her. As a child, I fully believed that my mother had kept a foot in the occult. She was remarkably consistent about the details over decades, to the point where I seriously wonder what she had perceived. I don't think it was the supernatural, but I don't think she was lying either. Maybe that child who believed in the fantastical is closer to the surface than I realized. Back on topic, I love Halloween. And back during my empty half year in the Fall of 2006, a website called I-Mockery had a tradition of celebrating two months of Halloween. I adopted this tradition for my own. I maintained this tradition on and off throughout the years. The last time was our last Halloween before moving to Houston. For once, I'm feeling up to it again. I've been bursting to blog about Halloween for months…
